Brand-new house for rent in Estreito da Calheta, in a quiet but not isolated environment, just 3 minutes from Calheta beach and shops, 30 minutes from Funchal and 40 minutes from the airport. It is ideally located to explore the island, with very quick access to the North and its fabulous landscapes via nearby Ribeira Brava, and Porto Moniz with its natural pools to the West is only 35 minutes away. It offers a fabulous panoramic view of the ocean from the house’s terrace. Terrace with barbecue and summer kitchen, garden furniture, parasol. A true little paradise where you’ll have an ocean view from everywhere in the house: from the bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen! 2 spacious bedrooms with 140 cm beds, recent and comfortable bedding, large storage spaces. Possibility to add an extra bed (90x190) in one of the bedrooms. Equipped kitchen with stovetop, oven, microwave, espresso coffee machine, fridge/freezer. Living room with flat-screen TV, DVD player, home cinema. Unlimited internet connection (Wi-Fi). Laundry room with washing machine, iron. Household linen provided (bath towels and bedding). Free internet in the house. Baby essentials available on request (crib and high chair). Fully fenced property, private parking. The owner was nice and responsive. I left a personal belonging behind and she arranged a shipment be sent to me, which is very thoughtful and above and beyond. The home itself was beautiful with lovely views of the island and a tasteful interior. Centrally located to Calheta as well. Would absolutely recommend this stay!

Nicely kept house with a beautiful view of the ocean from a large terrace. Very well-equipped kitchen for those who like to cook for themselves. Quiet neighbourhood . Good base if you want to visit the western part of the island. A tip for your visit: follow the owner's instructions to the accommodation, as googlemap will send you in the wrong direction. We had a wonderful stay in Calheta!

Relaxing holiday with a magnificent view

The house has truly breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The cleanliness of the house is very good and the contact with the owner Jean was very pleasant and friendly. It was also nice to find a bouquet of fresh flowers and a typical "Bolo der Mel" to welcome us. We found the location of the house very quiet and we were able to relax very well. Thank you, Jean, for a lovely time.

Tolle Lage

Schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Küche mit großem Panoramafenster. Große Terrasse mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die Anfahrt ist teilweise recht eng, aber alles gut machbar. Der Gastgeber hat auch eine sehr gute Anfahrtsbeschreibung geschickt. Absolut empfehlenswert, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

wunderschönes Ferienhaus

wir genossen einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt an diesem prächtigen Ort. Das Haus war sehr sauber, super ausgerüstet mit phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer. Wir genossen den Kontakt zu den madeirischen Nachbarn. Auch sehr herzlicher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Bei Ankunft tropischer Blumenstrauss und einheimischer Kuchen auf dem Tisch. Die erste Anfahrt war ein wenig sportlich zu später Stunde, weil unser Navi von der Hauptstrasse in Calheta immer nach oben wollte anstatt nach unten, wurden dann beim Supermarkt oben abgeholt. Tolle Ferienwohnung mit kleinen Makeln

Wir haben den einwöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, wenngleich im Detail einiges schon etwas verschlissen war. Die Dusche war in mehreren Teilen defekt, einige Haushaltsgeräte sowie Gartenmöbel wiesen Defekte auf bzw. entsprechen nicht unbedingt den deutschen Reinlichkeitsbedürfnissen (die ja bekanntlich hoch sind). Dieses hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht geschmälert. Jean ist stets schriftlich erreichbar und freundlich dabei. Wir wünschen Jean die Möglichkeit, während seines bevorstehenden Aufenthaltes die kleinen Dinge aufzubessern.

We spent a wonderful time in Jean's house in Calheta. It is located uphill in a quiet area with a nice view over the town and the sea. The house is well-equipped and very cozy ... simply perfect for a relaxed holiday!
