The Motel is along one of the main roads in Ballina and noise increases in the morning as traffic commences. It's convenient enough for work, but probably not so much for holidaying. Not a deal breaker, but good to know: there is no daily room service at the Ballina Palms Boutique Motel.

We were pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment of this motel. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a small dining table along with two comfortable chairs with a footstool. The room also had a well equipped kitchen with microwave. The outdoor pool was a nice bonus and beach towels were supplied. The manager was friendly and obliging. We would stay here again.

Pleasant enough little motel but interesting Balinese furnishings don’t quite hide the age. Pull out bathroom mirror was a nice touch but towels were horrible. I didn’t get any service in two days so can’t say what it was like except to say there was no feeling of welcome. Taking out your own rubbish, poorly written and presented guest manual and mould in the shower grouting is NOT 4 Star! But quiet, mostly clean and just a few metres from the river,

Perfect location, Very clean with all the amenities you would need. The pool area is perfect for a day of relaxing. There are lots of great beaches within walking distance. And a quick drive to Byron bay. I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay !

This is the 2nd time my wife & I have stayed at this motel. My wife made a comment out of the blue she just said this place is really nice. The price is real value for money. I is close to shops and yet quiet. It very clean and the staff we met were very polite and helpful.

I stayed in Room 3, which I hope to book again for Jan 26. It was comfortable, clean, great bed, nice bathroom and kitchenette facilities. Having the choice between ceiling fan and air con was great. I drove everywhere to see things and obtain food but I have trouble walking so it may be fine for others. I loved it.

Lovely comfy room, good sized kitchen. Pool area a little oasis. We arrived a bit after reception closing and they hid a key for us and communicated clearly where it was, stayed in touch via text to ensure we were in and settled. Lovely property will stay again.

The property is very close to the water. It was quiet and very clean. Andre was great and called me to let me know I’d left something behind when checking out. A few of the timber blinds were broken, so didn’t shut tight enough to keep the morning light out, but no real biggy. I would definitely stay again.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at and always like to stay here when I come to Ballina just adds to an already beautiful town. Staying here is worth a visit alone to Ballina. The rooms are a mix of new & old style all handled with tender care. The rooms are spacious with so many wonderful features including all the basics plus biscuits, hot chocolate, green tea, cleaning wipes, water jug and all sorts of kitchen utensils. The bed is the best I’ve slept on, bathroom very updated, place is quiet with next to no noise from other rooms, there’s an outdoor area, nice pool and easy walking access to the Ballina river walking track. Andre, Sebastian and all the team are really amazing. Keep up the great work.
