The place is cute, just a little small. It has the most well stocked kitchen I've seen in a while. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The living room seating was not very comfortable, especially the 2 large wooden chairs. Also, there is not a table conducive to playing games with 4 people. I don't see how 8 people could stay here comfortably, even if 4 are children.Overall, it is a nice place for 4 people.

Nice stay! Pros: light switches are labeled; everything fairly new; nice patio and outdoor fireplace; comfortable feel; nice king size beds; everything we needed for a 2 day stay. Cons: water too shallow to fish; concrete floors throughout home cold in winter; water from shower leaks into bathroom amd under baseboard; leftover coffee grounds and filter from previous guests; bumpy dirt road to home's location; ceiling fan in bedroom makes noise

My previous visit to Log Country Cove was with my family of adults only which we thoroughly enjoyed. However this time I came with my grandkids and younger adults. And they too thoroughly enjoyed their time spent at the house and your property. The kids loved the home being secluded telling spooky stories and the like. we loved the design of the house and the furnishings. Only complaint was especially the driveway or parking space needed to be cleared better. When we would step out of the car, we stepped into "grass burr" bushes. Also, I put a $110 pet deposit up but it has not been returned. The small dog was never in the main house and most of the stay was in a dog kennel/cage.

We absolutely LOVED it!!

My husband and our four kids absolutely loved this house!! It felt like we were at home but even nicer! It was so nicely decorated and the kitchen was supplied with anything we could have ever needed. The beds were SO comfortable. Absolutely recommend Longhorn Cove Cabin. We already booked again for next year!!

Clean, relaxing, & peaceful. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Decorations in House were awesome. Loved sitting on the back porch early in the morning & late afternoon watching the small creek. Perfect place for older kids but because of steps leading to creek not good for the little ones. Husband & I had no complaints & would rent long horn cabin again. Just needed a hair dryer

Secluded Hideaway!

Beautiful cabin away from lake noise (except the frogs). Two king bedrooms and two bathrooms are perfect for adults needing a relaxing get-away. Great deck with fireplace overlooking cove. The kitchen has everything you need except food, and the two bathrooms have enough towels for a couple of days. The cabin is also equipped with a washer/dryer. Kingsland and Marble Falls are both a quick drive away if you want restaurant food, but if you’re looking for a quiet, restful long weekend this place is perfect.
