Kempinski Budapest has to be in the running for the best hotel in all of Budapest. It's a block from Vaci street shopping and only a couple blocks from the Danube river. Kempinski has all the amenities one could ever need and the location is top notch. Kempinski Budapest gets my highest recommendation.

Beautiful hotel. They did not give us the room selection that we made so we had to change rooms the second night. That was a hassle and should not have occurred. I even verified at check in that our room had a “separate living room with closed off bedroom”. They said there was an “arch” between the bedroom and living room but not closed off. We accepted that thinking that was our only option only to learn the next day that in fact they do have rooms with living rooms closed off from bedrooms.

It has it all.

Quality hotel in a great location just metres from Metro Central and 200 metres from where the walking tours start. Fashion Street is at the door and the car free area with shops and restaurants only 10o metres away. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

I stayed there with my family. The hotel was clean. The location is great. It’s in the center of everything. It’s a walking distance to the basilica, Buda castle , parliment , synagogue and liberty square . The staff was super nice. Great customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. The concierge gentleman was so helpful. He made reservations for us. Helped us with our itinerary. We loved Budapest and loved this hotel would stay there again

Great location. Very central. Helpful staff. Room was okay but bathroom was a disaster with the shower area. The water was everywhere as there was no proper barrier for water to stay in the showering area so it would overflow. I had to ask for several bath mats. Not expected from a 5 star hotel

The Kempinski is a wonderful property, modern, well appointed and down right nice! The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the beds are comfortable and provide a restful night's sleep. It is everything I expected!
