My friend and I needed a place to stay for a last minute guys weekend and we found Gus's wonderful stuga (cottage!). It was perfect, in a nice private area with a great view, great deck, and just the right amount of room for a few people to relax and enjoy the fall. Would definitely consider going again when it is a bit warmer to enjoy the lake even more!

The location can't be beat. Gus was a fantastic host (the cookies really sealed the deal on that one). The house is exactly as described, and, in my opinion, the pictures don't do it justice. If you're looking for a quiet lakefront retreat, don't hesitate on this rental.

This was such a beautiful experience. The cottage felt so much like home. The balcony and view were amazing. The heated massage chair, cookies and wine on the table, were amazing and unexpected additions. The owner communicated well and clearly, even offering me an early check-in. I had an amazing spiritual, restorative, peaceful weekend here. THANK YOU!! Look forward to returning.

This is a fantastic little property. We stayed here to go to the Brimfield flea market and it was ridiculously close. The place was very clean and had everything we needed and it's got a beautiful view of the lake and a little dock that you can sit on and sip your wine. Gus was absolutely wonderful to work with and there were fresh baked cookies and a bottle of wine when we walked in. As well as some nice little treats in the fridge for us. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

The perfect landing spot for our trip

This small cabin is clean as a whistle - possibly the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Beds were comfortable, towels were big and nice, kitchen had what we needed, laundry equipment was a godsend. Little complimentary touches by the owners were appreciated.An excellent experience!!

Fantastic place to stay

Warm and cozy. It was so nice to sit out on the porch with a complimetary bottle of wine and cookies from our host. He came to make sure we got into the home. It was very kind and thoughtful. Great location. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend this cottage.

We loved the location. So close to the Brimfield show. We were able to come back for lunch and then go back to shop. The cottage was very cozy and clean. Our host was very accommodating. There was a complimentary bottle of wine and cookies. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening and watched the ducks come to shore. It was peaceful. Would definitely go back.
