This is a cute & nice hotel, the staff is friendly & helpful. The old courthouse is nxt to it, which has a bell that chimes every hr. I thought it would disturb my sleep, but amazingly when my head hit the pillow, I never heard it ring until the nxt Morning. Asked the staff if it stops at a certain time. He said no… it actually plays a tune 3x’s a day. Would recommend, 5stars for sure JP

Beautiful landscape. For what you pay for. Rooms are average . Had a small problem with the shower not draining correctly, but got resolved very fast. Staff are super kind there. Slept very well. I would definitely stay there again. It’s in the center of town as well. Just remember the marketplace that’s in town is double the price on almost everything.

We stayed in Bridgeport for a wedding weekend. It’s a small town with few hotel options, so we knew not to expect too much. Rooms were spacious but definitely dated and needing some repairs. Two of the three rooms we reserved had obvious water damage to the floors. The y were buckled and I’m hoping no mold growing underneath! Bathrooms are small and it takes some time to get hot water. But overall have what you need in a bathroom. Rooms come with their own AC units, so that was nice to control temperature and have white noise while sleeping. Beds were comfortable, but we did bring our own pillows. Staff was WONDERFUL…best part of our stay! There is lots of grass so remember to bring bug spray; mosquitos are plentiful in the warm weather. Hotel is close to walk to anything you might need. Overall what I expected, based on the area, so wasn’t disappointed.

First time staying in Bridgeport but have driven through it many times. The silver Maple Inn is super cute and clean. They have a perfect setting area and you can bbq or bring your food back to sit outside like we did. The town is small and everything is within walking distance. There is a park on the backside of the property located at the towns community center and was perfect for my 3 yr old grandson after being cooped in a car driving through Yosemite. The inn check in was so easy and the gentleman was super nice and informative. The bedding was new but the mattress could be upgraded. I recommend this place to any passer by’s that need a rest and want to check out the natural wonders in Bridgeport. It’s really a cute spot for nature lovers.

The “okay” rating was generous. This property was old and outdated. While this seemed to want to portray a small town flavor, it communicated more of a shabby flavor. Under the entry door, there a big space which left in cold air. Although this was a larger room than others we saw that our friends were in, the lighting was dim, the tv was so small it was difficult to view from the far side of the room. Housekeeping were good, yet the old furnishings fell short. The ac unit was mounted so high on the wall that one had to stand on a chair to operate. The first experience with the shower was painful. Once turning on the water, which was difficult in that it took a great deal of strength to “pull out the control. The control turned in circles, perhaps passing the “hot water” section, which made temperature control perilous. That wasn’t the only painful part, once the control was pulled out to allow the flow of water, one was pelted with high pressure stinging water spray. To say the least it was rustic. The grounds were nicely kept, however the windows in our room backed up to where the dumpster was located which caused loud noise when someone was dumping the garbage at 7:30 am, while the kids staying with us were sleeping! We were attending a wedding. It is unlikely Bridgeport CA would be a location we’d return to. Hope Valley looked like it could be a better option.

I booked 2 nights. The day I checked in there was a forest fire which prompted an all city power outage. Not only for the Inn but all restaurants and markets. I could not get food at restaurants or markets. There was no info on time frames. I told the desk I was leaving. Paid for the first night and asked to be refunded. Expedia said the property refused to issue a refund. No Excuse for that.
