Planned a long weekend trip to Salem to check off my husband’s bucket list. It was a bit tricky to find, but we found it eventually. Very cute on the inside, just enough room for the two of us. The only things that turned us off were the lack of storage in the bedroom and lighting in the walkways leading up to the house. There’s a nice sized closet, but we could definitely have used a small dresser or table to put things on. Other than that, everything was great!

Wonderful experience! The bungalow is so cute and walking distance to most everything in Marblehead. The only issue was the construction at the school next door which prohibited us from parking in our designated space and blocking us in. No complaints with the property itself and our host Jac was great to work with! 5 stars for Jac and the property. 0 stars for the construction crew next door that blocked us in.

The Bungalow

The negative was, air-conditioning was only in the bedroom. That's not in the ad. Windows are painted shut. Initially we had to open doors to cool the place but once we did we were comfortable. That was the only downside. The place was very clean. The decor was very nice. It's set off the road a little which we liked. It was quiet. We were very comfortable. It's close to Salem which is what we wanted. We would stay definitely stay again.
A little hidden but we liked that.
Have to walk up steps to front door. Not a problem for us.
Very nice outside.

Appreciated the privacy of the location, on the property of an old converted school. The place wasn't completely obvious to me at first but then I recognized it. It was a relaxing place to read, and I slept exceptionally well in that quiet bedroom!

PERFECT!

I surprised my husband with a 40th birthday trip to visit Salem for a long weekend. This little cottage kept popping up on VRBO and since it was just the 2 of us, I figured it would be great. It exceeded our expectations! The home was so quaint, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We only did 1 day in Salem and spent the other 3 days falling in love with Marblehead. Book here, you will not be disappointed! We hope to visit again soon ❤️

Loved the location, the size, the cleanliness. Only thing I would change is putting up some solar Lights on the walk. It’s very steep steps and pitch black at night. Would be nice to see the walk way to the steps. Other than that, loved this place!
