The Caticlan Transfer was very easy and the staff took care of everything. We arrived at 10:00 to the hotel and had some issues with one of the staff (Shaina). She kept telling us the room was being prepared but it turned out that the previous person didn't vacate the room until after 12:00 and we weren't able to go to our room until after 2:00 PM. The room was clean but wasn't what we expected. We booked the Deluxe Pool View and were given a room on the 4th Floor that was technically pool view IF you went outside on the walkway to the elevators, shared by the other rooms on the floor, and looked down at the pool, through the Palm Trees. Room was dated and is in need of a renovation. The shower/tub was difficult to get in/out of and the water controls were a bit confusing with no markings. We had friends stay in the Standard Room which seem to be more updated so it may just be an issue that they are in the process of updating the rooms. We stayed 11 Days so had quite a bit of luggage with us. There wasn't any Dressers or space to store our clothes so we ended up living out of our suitcases for the entire time. The location is really good on Station 3 near our preferred dive shop so it was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was nice but could have been more varied day to day. Again, Management (Christine and Lea) went above and beyond to ensure that the initial issues we had with check-in didn't ruin our vacation.
