Come enjoy the peaceful tranquility of this lakefront retreat just 5 minutes from the quaint seaside shops and restaurants of Boothbay Harbor or 8 minutes from the Botanical Gardens! The rental is a private, bright, spacious, separate apartment in the lower level of the home with its own entrance, tall 9-ft ceilings, and LOTS of windows and glass to see the beautiful water and sunsets from each room with heat and air conditioning. Enjoy star gazing, fishing, swimming, or choose out of our mix of tandom or single kayaks to explore the mile-long lake waters.

Walk out the French doors to the stone patio and grass, listen to the loons and the wind in the trees, watch the sun sparkle off the lake, or take the short path that leads down the hill to the private dock with swim ladder and take a dip, lay out on a towel in the sun, sit on Adirondack chairs on the lakeside deck, or perch on a wooden swing near the water's edge.

The large bedroom includes a queen-sized memory foam bed and a single daybed situated nicely to look out over the water. Other guests may choose the couch/chaise in the den with self serve hideaway queen size cool gel memory foam bed.

The unit has a small but nicely equipped kitchen with appliances including stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator w/freezer, coffee makers, steamer, instantpot and blender for your convenience along with some common spices.

Bathroom has dual sinks and tub/shower combination.

Enjoy a private entrance on the water side of the home, a space separated from owner’s part of the house by a locked door, heat and air conditioning on it's own Nest zone, and parking for 1 vehicle (or 2 if we have advanced notice and squish). WIFI, HD antenna, and a smart TV with Roku and DVD player included. Games and puzzles line the closet shelves to encourage an unplugged experience.

Property is located on a quiet dead-end road that leads to sidewalks into town. The beautiful oceanfront route to town takes only 5 minutes to drive in a car or about 20 if walking. This is a great starting location for exploring the rest of the Boothbay region as well! Take in area walking trails, choose an ocean boat tour to see picturesque islands and lighthouses, visit one of the area's rocky beaches, or see the nearby Botanical Gardens.

The main part of the home is a part-time vacation retreat for the owners and the price of the rental is lower than market value which reflects the possibility that you may occasionally hear signs of life from the rest of the house, but don’t worry!
