I really have no complaint about LA CASA DELLE DEE. It was a first time experience to have self-check-in, not have a concierge and have everything work digitally. So it was interesting and scary but Mary was extremely helpful and patient. It's enough to put someone totally unfamiliar with the set-up at ease. There really is no complaint about the place as it comfortable and immaculate. My only difficulty was it had no elevator yet and the place is on the third floor. Not a problem if one travels light but I had 2 heavy suitcases which was my situation. But that is also typical of Italy. However, Mary goes above and beyond accommodating her guests. She gave me superb recommendations for restaurants and even arranged my taxi on departure. It was a unique experience and I would repeat if I was traveling light or when the elevators are installed or when I try her new venue on a lower floor. The area also is quite nice and walkable to a lot of fine eateries as well as close to the Piazza Maggiore and Independencia. She even provided me coupons for a nearby cafe to make-up for a construction nearby which I honestly never heard or was bothered by. Great host in an amazing place.
