Suited our needs as it was across from the train station. Took a taxi to the airport which was about €25,00. Hotel provided a to go breakfast for us. We felt safe walking around during the day but would not at night. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of selections. Comfortable beds. Heating control for the room was broken and the room was very warm. We had the desk turn off the heating but the whole hotel was warm. Would recommend this hotel for its location.

UNA is Great-for a lot of reasons

Just one night following a very long journey to Bologna, UNA Hotel is perfectly located across from the central train station. Quiet and comfortable, I slept better than I have in weeks. Breakfast buffet is over the top, with fresh baking and hot food, and excellent coffee. Will be cready king back through and UNA will be my choice!

Good for early morning check out

Our room was ready early which worked well for us. Room was clean and comfortable. We had to check out before breakfast to catch our flight and the staff offered to have to-go bags with breakfast to grab when we checked out. I appreciated the extra effort to make our stay pleasant.

PROs: The room was well-located and had good upkeep. The breakfast was expansive and of great quality. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had nice water pressure. CONS: uninspired dinner menu. The room could have used a kettle for tea. The tub needs upkeep. Like the speaker in the bathroom but no volume control, speaker had too much static. Prefer glassware to plastic cups. The style needs updating.

The property was poorly maintained. Mould in bathroom since vent not working. Shower/bath combined but bath so badly rusted that the plug was stuck. Rusty water sitting at bottom. Homeless people sleeping next to hotel and large gatherings of young men around corner. Make sure you go right and right when walking to centre to avoid the unsavoury area. Breakfast was not bad.

The hotel is in a very good location near the Bologna Central Station. The room was clean but the bathroom was in poor condition. There was a leak from the bathtub, the toilet didn’t flush which is why I am not giving them a higher rating. The hotel needs an upgrade.
