The property was extremely disappointing. It was dirty, scruffy and soulless . Only one hand towel and two bath towels were provided for 3 guests. There was no bath mat or tea towel either . There was dirt and dust everywhere and dead insects on the window ledges. The bedding in the double room hadn’t been changed with evidence of long red hairs on the sheets. The pillows were lumpy and stained. The mattress on the single bed was terrible and we had to use cushions from the sofa to make it bearable. The window blinds didn’t work properly and the radiator was hanging lopsided on the wall. The walls also had nails sticking out. The bedroom rug was grotty and matted. The bath drain was clogged and filled up with dirty water when you had a shower. There was only one mirror, which was in the hallway and only one wardrobe. The key lock was fiddly and awkward. They were slow to respond to our concerns and a bath mat and tea towel only arrived on our last night there. We couldn’t wait to leave.
