The location of this hotel is very good and convenient for getting around the city. However, the room was a bit small. My main concern was the air conditioning. During our stay, the weather was very hot, but the air conditioning in our room was very weak and did not cool the room properly. We reported this to the reception, but were told that the system was less effective because many guests were using it at the same time. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved, and we felt quite uncomfortable during the nights because of the heat. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because I expected reliable air conditioning, so this was particularly disappointing. Considering the price we paid, I expected a more comfortable experience. In addition, the hair dryer provided in the room was not clean. While the location is a strong point, the poor air conditioning significantly affected our stay.

Beautiful building.

This hotel was recommended to us as a luxury hotel. The Hotel sits in a great position within Bilbao & has great views. A quick & easy drive to the ferry port. We were disappointed to find that although the hotel is a beautiful building the interior is very modern. Bedroom comfortable. Restaurant very stark especially when eating alone. Food enjoyable.

The Palacio was absolutely superb in so many aspects, great location, superb staff and welcome, magnificent appearance and brilliant food (dinner & breakfast). The room was stunning, so much space and a great outlook. Defo on the return bucket list

Excellent hotel at a fair price for great service

Stayed before. That’s why we chose again this same hotel. Hotel staff are so welcoming and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast was very good and the voice was excellent. Will be booking with this same hotel on our next trip in October.

GOOD HOTEL CLOSE TO FERRY PORT

Stayed at the URH. Palacido de Oriol Hotel on 3 separate occasions, and have been very happy with our stay. The only problem I can see is if someone is a light sleeper, then they must ask for a room facing away from the railway line the has trains going past from 5 am until late in the evening, and they are quite noisy.

This unique propery was once a grand home overlooking the water in Santurtzi. Fabulous, spacious rooms, a bar with plentiful seating, and a restaurant with delicious food! Confortable beds, on-site underground oarking, and an atmosphere of early 29th century splendor. Loved everything!
