Le fort est à la campagne, à l’écart des itinéraires touristiques. Y faire une halte permet de se ressourcer loin de la pollution des vîlles. Le petit village au pied du fort est calme et paisible, avec de nombreuses échoppes d’artisans. On y découvre la vie à la campagne. A une vingtaine de minutes à pieds, un temple hindou est érigé sur un promontoire de rocher. Le personnel de l’hotel est très attentionné et les repas délicieux. Seuls bémols : la colonie que pigeon qui s’est approprié la piscine (même si les employés la nettoient, elle est envahie de fiantes) et la masseuse du spa qui pourrait être plus douce et plus aimable.

Attenzione, delusione in agguato.

Abbiamo prenotato trovando questo hotel ricercando a "Jodhpur". Anche nell'indirizzo dichiarato risulta Jodhpur ma non l'hotel si trova alla bellezza di 80km dalla città che per l'India vuol dire 90 min di auto. Tuttavia è un bel posto e le camere sono belle, si vede attorno un'India più rurale e forse migliore della città. Però si è praticamente costretti a mangiare in albergo a prezzi altissimi perché non ci sono ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Ho fatto un massaggio men che mediocre per 2000 rupie, ma la cosa che fa scendere vertiginosamente il livello del servizio è la mancanza del wifi gratuito, anche volendolo pagare a prezzi altissimi, il sistema è davvero scomodo, e vale per un solo device con evidenti imbrogli sugli effettivi tempi di connessione. Insomma se volete rimanere connessi con il mondo evitatelo, se volete staccare con tutto è il posto giusto.
