This is a lovely 2 story rental that was very clean and well kept. Good communication with the hosts. There was bottled water in the fridge and lots of condiments as well as infused olive oils, dried pasta and an array of spices in the kitchen. Plus lots of coffee Kpods, tea and regular drip coffee as well. The countertop oven/air fryer works well. There was also an assortment of shampoos and body washes in the bathroom plus tons of towels. The game room was spacious with fun games. Definitely more for adults with the shot glass chess board pieces but kids could enjoy them too. We hardly heard the people in the first floor apartment.The downsides are the stairs are extremely steep going into the main apartment on the 2nd floor and going to the game room which is on the 3rd floor. We thought about having family over but there was no way my elderly mother-in-law was going to get up or down the stairs. The NJ North Coast railway is directly behind the house. We got there Christmas Eve evening so it wasn't terrible that evening or Christmas Day and the weekend as the trains start a little later and don't run as frequently. But they start pretty darn early (5:30am) on a regular weekday and the horns definitely will wake you up. Our teenager slept through it but the adults didn't. Luckily we're early birds. The trains stop by 11-11:30pm which wasn't too terrible. I wanted to soak in the jet tub but there was only enough hot water to fill up a third of the tub.
