This property exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, clean and everything we needed was in our suite. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Very pretty town and nice restaurants right in the area.

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at the Newsroom Suites and they never disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed for the two nights we spent there. It is in a beautiful area, close to the lake and walking distance from the beach. There are some great bars, cafes, and restaurants close by and lots of very cute local shops. I'm so glad we chose to stay here again!

We have stayed at Newsroom Suites in the past and loved it, however we will not be staying there again. We were booked for a 2 night stay. In the evening of the first night we received news of a family crisis and needed to return home the next morning. While all of the other hotels and activities we had booked for our holiday allowed us to cancel past the cancellation deadline without penalty, Newsroom Suites refused and insisted on sticking to their policy, forcing us to pay the full night's cost.

The property is in an ideal location and my room was incredible. I could live in the bathroom! There were all kinds of thoughtful amenities - I used a beach towel to take to the water and enjoy the sun. Everything was clean and in great condition. Staff were very kind and super easy to communicate with. Even though the location is on a "main" street, inside is peaceful and quiet. The lake is literally steps away. Very handy to have a food store right next door. You will honestly not regret staying here.

I choose the place due to its location in wellington and short drive to sandbanks. But I was really sold when I showed up and found a spacious, clean and comfy room. I will certainly be back!

Perfect, restful weekend

This was our first visit but I understand why there are so mzny repeat visitors to Newsroom Suites. The suite was well laid out, had everything you would need, great bed and plenty of hot water. The location is perfect. Above all this the owners we responsive, helpful and friendly.
