The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional. Every team member made a point to speak with me throuhout my stay. The obvious disappointment was the construction in progress. While I certainly understand that it is necessary to improve the overall experience to your guests, I was disappointed that you failed to notify guests before arrival. A simple notification on your website is the right thing to do. When specific facilities on your propery advertised and are unavailable to guests without prior notification, many may choose to book elsewhere on future visits to Beaufort. Your company has already made a significant capital investments in improving the guest experience. It seems a bit reckless to risk losing future business for a couple of weeks of bookings. Also, it might be prudent to suspend last minute cancellation costs for guests who choose not to stay due to the inconvenience of construction and lack of notification. As a final note, my experience was a good one mainly due to your unbelievable staff throughout the property. Good luck with the upgrade. I hope to see you again on future trips to the Beaufort atea!
