"Peace at Bay" is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house with a full interior/exterior remodel just completed in July of 2022. The fresh interior provides a comfortable and relaxing stay for our guests! The patio overlooking Caney Creek, has plenty of seating, and even a propane fire pit. The pier and brand new bulkhead are great for fishing and crabbing entertainment! There are even fishing lights for night time fishing.

This house is a great location on Caney Creek! Just a few minute boat ride to the ICW and the gulf, or a quick 3 mile drive to Sargent beach. Close to several of Sargent's restaurants and bait camps too.

The bed layout is as follows:

Bedroom 1 - queen bed

Bedroom 2 - queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed

Sleeper sofa in living room.

The house was very nice and neat! The fishing wasnt that great at the pier or the surf but prolly due to it being so dang hot this summer!! It could use a few more amenities but other then that a very nice stay!!

Great accommodations!

We had an incredible stay! The house is appointed with more than double the amount of amenities than we needed. The location is beautiful and all of the furniture is very comfortable. We caught large crab from the pier and the sunsets from the balcony and pier were stunning every night. Everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!

Nice house, good fishing. Close to bait shops. With there was running water to the cleaning table on the dock. Besides that, great rental. Would rent again.

Family Fishing Trip

Very nice spur-of-the-moment 3-day family vacation. Excellent communication with the owner, who answered all of my questions in a timely manner. It was the only rental available that met our requirements, and as we expected the house was old, but it had enough beds for all 7 of us. Kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. The outside more than made up for the old inside. Perfect spot for our center console boat on the side of the dock. We caught about 30 nice crabs off the dock, and our kids had a blast doing so! We all fished off the dock and caught croaker, sheepshead, small trout, redfish (no keepers, but one 19”!), and small catfish (be careful with their poisonous barbs!). You can catch fish off the dock with dead bait shrimp all day, with excellent fishing before sunrise until 8 or 9AM. Older kids and dad went shark fishing in the gulf and hooked up on so many huge ones! Kids stayed outside almost all day. Day was pleasant, but as expected mosquitoes came out in full force in the evening. We were prepared with mosquito fogger and bug spray. Short drive to Sargent Beach, where we had fun playing in the gulf.
