Property and room were run down with lots of wear and tear. The room wasn't cleaned properly. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff were very nice but it just wasn't the "collection" experience I expected.

A lovely stay!

My family and I stayed at NH Constanza at the end of August and had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Yasin was helpful in directing us to the car park and helping us with our luggage to our room. His service was excellent! Thank you Yasin! Also we would like to say a huge thank you to Pol who was so welcoming and super helpful. He helped us with our queries and went above and beyond! :-) The room we had was clean and the service from house keeping was wonderful. A free 30 minute spa session was included in our stay everyday which was fantastic. We loved using the sauna and pool. The spa also offered facials and massages at an additional cost which was nice to have on offer. The hotel also has a small gym and a rooftop pool. Next door to the hotel is a mall with shops such as Cortefiel, Primark, Parfois and many more. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Although far from the center of town, this hotel have a wonderful quiet reprieve from the madness of Barcelona in August. I took public transportation everywhere, buses and metro nearby and very easy to use. The staff was so kind and helpful. The room was large and quiet, only thing the bathroom needed a little redo, but besides that I am so happy with my choice to stay here!!

This property was amazing, everything was on point up to the welcome drink! I had a early checkout and breakfast was provide for us! The breakfast was out of this world! The potion size in the restaurant are questionable (tacos) but i have nothing bad to say about this property.

Our experience at this hotel has been absolutely unacceptable from the very beginning. We arrived a few hours early, exhausted from our journey, hoping we might be able to check in if a room was ready. Reception took our number and said they’d contact us if anything became available. We never heard back. Assuming things would be ready by the official 3pm check-in, we returned just after that time. To our surprise, the room still wasn’t ready because the previous guest hadn't left on time. Instead of taking accountability or offering a sincere apology, the receptionist quickly handed us vouchers for alcoholic drinks (one of us doesn’t even drink), told us to wait in the bar for 20 minutes, and brushed us off without checking if this was acceptable. Feeling ignored, I returned the vouchers to the front desk and asked for a more appropriate resolution—such as a partial discount—for the inconvenience. This request was completely dismissed. Only then, after I pushed back, did the receptionist “magically” find a room for us. Still no apology. No empathy. No professionalism. To make matters worse, while I was at reception, the bar staff gave my friend a drink using the voucher. When I returned, the bartender rudely demanded we hand her the voucher—even though I had already returned it. She told me to go back and get it from reception. It was humiliating, so we left the untouched drink and walked away. The way we were spoken to made it clear we weren’t being respected.

The rooms were large, especially for Europe, and the decor was fine inside the rooms. The hallways were filthy and dilapidated, the lobby was very outdated, the decor of the bar/hotel restaurant was totally 1980s and the staff was… Friendly is not the word that I would use… More like they tolerated us and pretended to be nice. The swimming pool was full of locals, who apparently knew someone who worked there because I felt like I was in a pre-party to a nightclub and it was completely packed. I had a massage in the spa and the lady was really nice, but didn’t know how to do anything beyond a Swedish massage and I was having neck and back problems and really needed someone’s help. The little banquet Café across the street was lovely and having taxis at our back and call across the street were fantastic but the location was pretty remote and I don’t think I would stay there again. oh and I am 99% sure I got double charged for the Barcelona tax. I paid it when I checked in and they also charged me again when I checked out.

Amazing hotel and location with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing options in the area minute walk to hop on hop off bus routes. Breakfast buffet is added expense but well worth having with amazing and fresh options for what you pay.
