The Bluenose Inn Is a really nice place to stay. The hotel, rooms & common areas are clean & welcoming. They have a great gift shop, lounge/bar area with live piano entertainment. They have a restaurant offering breakfast & lunch. It is located close to downtown Bar Harbor. A short drive with affordable paid parking everywhere . We enjoy our stay!

It was fantastic - the room, the building, the lounge, and most of all, Bill Trowell! What a treat, can't believe his talent and charm! Only negatives: the door key system was VERY DIFFICULT. Some of the front desk staff seemed clueless when asked questions about local area sights.

Classic old school hotel

A bit dated as for decor but well maintained. Our room was spacious! Very clean with a great view. The outside pool could use an umbrella or two but was a great temperature and very clean. The indoor pool with hot tub was fabulous. And there is an EV charging area across the street.

Wonderful views! Excellent room. Was not informed that restaurant was in a separate building and also indoor pool and spa were in another separate building. Both buildings were a bit of a strenuous uphill walk especially for an elderly person.

Great living spaces that could be separated off, great view of the ocean, the great room was a comfortable place to relax after dinner (in town). The only negative was the lack of on site dinner dining, and the associated breakfast restaurant being closed during part of the week.

The room had an amazing view of the harbor and the little balcony was great to watch the boats. We had a nice stay overall, rooms are a bit dated but they were clean and comfortable

Property was older but very clean. Could hear the people above us very clearly walking above us. However we were typically too exhausted for it to bother us. Few minutes to Acadia and few minutes to shops. Indoor pool was a favorite for our daughter. Would stay again just would be on the top floor.

The hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the bay. It was a perfect location, very close to the park and downtown shops. Breakfast was great at the Looking Glass restaurant. The surroundings were peaceful and overlooking the bay.

Excellent find for our first visit to Bar Harbor. Loved the old school feel, timeless qualities like Great Room With nightly pianist who is quite talented and a character. Attentive and friendly staff, lovely pools and hot tub. Plus amazing view fro our second floor (which was quite high) room. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Eden building which made our time comfortable because it offers so many amenities. We had a home away from home. The apartments offer beautiful views and everything you need to be comfortable! We loved the time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! We would stay here again for sure!
