Contemporary house with water views and access for boating or kayaking; located on Gouldsboro Point which is easy access to the Schoodic section of Acadia Natl. park, Mclellan park in Milbridge and the Maine state reserve areas around local lakes such as Tunk,Donnell,Spring River,Jones and others. (great fishing ,swimming,hiking and general outdoor activities). House is on Joy bay section of Gouldsboro bay which tends to be a bit calmer for "back bay" kayaking. Located 2.2 miles from Rt. #1 so easy access to grocery stores, shopping etc. (15 mins to Milbridge and 30 mins to Ellsworth.) House has 12x16' deck on south side,a large vaulted ceiling living room, a dining room with a large table and full service kitchen (DW, Stove/oven etc. and a breakfast nook off the kitchen.) A heat pump provides AC if necessary (but not needed very much). has two full baths (one upstairs and one down) with bathtub in one and shower in the other. Many local paths are within walkable distance and a town landing for larger boats on the bay is just down the road. If outdoor activities is your priority, this house is a great base of operations.
