The Standard Mahanakhon was wonderful. Fabulous design, great views, electric blinds and curtains, huge shower, comfy beds and pillows, great staff. On arrival the receptionist put a birthday cake in the room to celebrate my friend turning 60. Two minutes walk to the metro stop and you have the tallest building right above you.

Our room on the 17th floor was incredible - comfortable bed, amazing bath/shower and the best part - the view! The staff were all so friendly and attentive, took my peanut allergy seriously and made me feel safe. For two nights in Bangkok this is a perfect base, close to transport links and easy to get to the main tourist attractions. We would really recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok.

Wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. The hotel has very good food and there is a nearby food court that is also tasty. Food trucks nearby too. Nice to have access to the skywalk next door. Staff is very good. Helped us with outside laundry pick up/delivery and transportation as needed. Excellent breakfast and good gym and pool. It is well located for tourist areas. No spa but there is one within a 5 mins walk. Highly recommend this hotel but know where you want to be as Bangkok traffic means it takes time to get places. Their metro is not all that convenient as you still have to walk when you get to your destination.
