This is not the Marriott. I understood what I paid for. If one wants extravagant experience, this place is not for you. But if you are looking for an inexpensive stay in a vibrant neighborhood this could be your hotel. I got the garden room where the call to prayer happens 5 times a day. The room only had 1 electric outlet with no data ports. The bed was firm. And there's only shower head and drain. Breakfast was decent. There's restaurants bars, street vendors and shops in the plaza and in the neighborhood, Tuct tucts, cabs and public transit is there. Except for sightseeing I didn't have to leave the area. The staff was excellent.

The hotel is located in a quiet alley next to a temple and near the bar streets. There are plenty of amenities around: clothing shops, massage parlours, travel agencies, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc.

Staff at reception were quite pretty hostile. 500 baht deposit for key and when checking out no friendliness just where’s your deposit receipt and then hand back the money. Prices are not youth hostel prices but staff treated everyone like they were paying cheap prices.

The hotel was okay, and the breakfast was amazing. However, the room had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Also, starting around 3 or 4 a.m., there was a lot of noise people talking loudly, which made it very hard to sleep

Great location for the price. Close to Restaurants and Tourist spots you want to visit. Breakfast was awesome and didnt cost a lot to add to your room rate. Place was a little bit outdated and room was basic. But I didnt care because for the price you pay you get more.
