I stayed here for a week and it was an absolute delight. For me, the highlight was the pool. I'm actually a lap swimmer, and the pool was passably large enough to get daily exercise. Really well maintained, always large fresh beach towels available. I've paid $200-$300 / night in Miami and not had the same level of service. The staff were impeccably dressed and conscious of their appearance. I regret not trying the restaurant fearing the prices may be too high, but I glanced at the menu on my last day and was shocked to see how affordable it all was, ugh I will be back for this. Oh also, one huge bonus for me was that lobby bar was very attentive to my requests. For e.g. I would bring coffee in from outside and ask if it could be heated, and they would do it with a smile. I wouldn't even risk asking for this back home for fear of the disapproving look and denial I would inevitably receive. Another bonus treatment I won't soon forget: the security guard would authoritatively salute me every time I made eye contact. I felt like a diplomat returning to my compound. I now wish I had gotten a picture with him. I would prize it more than my photo with the Queen's Guard.
