A great location, but straight out of the 60s

Honestly, A great Location, but a true bait and switch property with Photos. I'm not going to lie, the service was great, but overall I was less than impressed with the hotel itself, the photos that are published online make it look like a true gem of a hotel, but the actual property itself has seen better days, my room felt as it was straight out of the 1960's without any renovations. The final night I stayed it was very noisy outside as well as I was 4 floors above the courtyard and they had Motorcoach after Motorcoach dripping off guests. The buses wouldn't stop honking and there were people directing with Whistles. It was very loud and with single pain windows and no insulation I felt as if I could hear everything perfectly at 11pm at night.

I use a walking stick and the area around the hotel was excellent for pubs, restaurants. The Metro 🚇 about 200 yds away gave access to many shopping centres ( Siam). There were many ways to sightsee. I thought the hotel didn't offer much but the area made up for it.

Poor customer service for a hospitality property

Check in time is 2pm, the reception counter has only 2 staffs and a queue is getting longer. there were originally 4 staffs when i joined the queue to check-in but it seems they end their work at 2pm and close 2 counters. the mattress is extremely hard, no different from sleeping on the floor. there was a false alarm that went off and there was no clarification from the property (no one knows if its accidental, a drill or for real).

Stayed for 6 nights the room was cleaned every day and on the one occasion that new people in the room next door came back at 4am and decided to have a party. 1 call to the concierge and it was shut down quickly. Excellent will stay again.
