The hotel has a policy that they lock the lobby but the exit for my room was through the lobby. I had to leave before it opened and was told I had to wait or go out the back and around. I was with my family and had 6 bags. They staff wasn’t nice and rude. Refused to understand my situation.

Room was excessively hot upon arrival. While we don't expect them to overcool an empty room prior to arrival, it wood be nice if it was less than 95 upon arrival. Didn't finally cool off till middle of the night. In this case the nice large room worked against us. Reasonably clean and quiet, but had a hard time getting over the very hot welcome.

Smells bad, Unpleasant morning staff

The evening front desk staff forgot to activate the room card, so I had to do a round trip to the front desk from our room location, which was on the opposite side of the hotel. The pool area had a strong smell of refuse trash in the evening when we used it. The pool was missing towels, which required another round trip to the reception desk. The morning front desk lady was not very courteous when I forgot/requested another room key.

Go Somewhere Else!!!

This hotel is in a really bad area and I worried about my car all night. They have no elevators and apparently when i checked in at 6pm there were no more 1st floor rooms. I had surgery 2 months ago and my son had a hamstring injury which made it extremely difficult to walk the stairs. It was over 100 degrees outside and when we entered the room, we were greeted to an extremely hot room which had to of been over 100 degrees too. We immediately turned the A/C on high and left the room. About 3 hours later we came back and the room had only cooled to maybe 90 degrees. Beds were really firm. My daughter slipped in the shower getting in. There was no tub mat or grips and no shower bars either. A week later she still has a bruise on her shoulder. Sleeping was miserable because of the heat. I literally had to put my feet on top of the A/C to feel the cold air. Around 2am the smoke detector in the hall began chirpping and it continued till about 8am. I called the front desk and no one answered. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but we decided we needed to go somewhere else. The room itself was pretty average and mostly clean. The check in staff was nice and the lady we dealt with when we left was very helpful. Apparently my stay was non-refundable, but hotel staff was kind enough to return about 95% of my second night that we were not staying for. We wont be back.
