We had late check in, after staff is off property. But with a phone connection and code for a lock box, entry was smooth. Lots a shops and eating stops in the area. Some noise from outside area.

More photos of various rooms need to be supplied as our room and view we had not look like the only one that was available. Bathroom wasn't fully clean and needs a general freshen up. Very very noisy from a close bar into early hours, which is out of their control but just take note incase that's an issue for you. Front office staff were lovely and very handy to shops which is ultimately why we chose to stay there.

Good location and value but needs maintenance

There is a general lack of maintenance and care. There are a lot of cracked tiles and the floor was somewhat dirty. Also, we arrived on public holiday before 4 pm and the reception was not open. This is despite closing time is indicated as being at 4pm. The bed was comfortable and noise from Queen street is not an issue. It is close to everything you need. Overall, it was reasonable valuable for its location.

Short, but sweet!

Our stay was very short. We got in from a late flight arrival and woke up the night manager to let us in the hotel at 1:00 AM (sorry!). Left the following morning at check-out and they were gracious enough hold our baggage until the evening when we departed Auckland. We didn't get to use any amenities; we were only there to sleep. I will say their location is prime--right smack in the premiere shopping area of the CBD. We were only a few minutes walk from the ferry port. Highly recommend!

Convenient

Very convenient to downtown CBD. Nothing amazing but clean and comfortable. The EOS cafe - exit the hotel, turn right, and look for the sign to the arcade - did a great long black! Turn left and cross the road for the New World Supermarket with snacks and alcohol.

The property was convenient to Cruise Terminal, however reception hours on weekends are limited and you need to request 2 keys if checking in out of hours as this is not standard practice. Property is aging and maintenance of the units has not been kept up. An upgrade to room security is needed with a key still required to access the rooms (no card or pin pad access). Small unit but clean and tidy. Has all that is neeed for a short stay.
