Commination with the motel was non existant. I needed to arrange a late check in. The number provided was never answered, and only once gave an option to leave a message which was not acted on. I attempted to contact the property via the expedia app and again got no response. Luckily I had friends who were checking in during the day who got an email address for me to communicate with them to get the code to the lockbox. Another friend who was also checking in late had the same experience and would not have been able to get her key should i have not arrived with the code. The number at reception to phone for after hour access was not answered. I would not recommend this motel if you need to check in after hours. It was particularly stressful trying to organize an after hour check in

Negative Review – Ellerslie Palms Motel At first glance the motel looks modest and tidy, but the experience quickly became unsettling. There was no reception or staff on site, just a phone number on the door. When I called, the phone was answered under a different name, which felt unprofessional and concerning. Even though my stay was prepaid, I was asked to provide my credit card over the phone, which felt insecure. I explained I was uncomfortable and stated I was recording the call for my own protection. I eventually received the access key, but the door looked as though the locks had been changed repeatedly. The room looked clean at first, but it clearly hadn’t been properly serviced. We found a Pringles tube behind the pillows, a bread clip under the bedside cabinet, and other missed items. The curtains had black mould and the window catches felt flimsy. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower had black and pink mould, and the plastic mat looked like it needed a long soak in bleach. It’s one of the few places where you can shower and feel dirtier afterwards. Next evening, a large group staying nearby was extremely loud past 11pm. I had to ask twice for quiet, and with no staff on site the issue wasn’t managed. To top it off, a large German cockroach appeared on the walls and ceiling during the night. Overall, the stay felt unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly managed. With no staff, an insecure check-in process, uncleanliness, noise issues, and pests, I cannot recommend.

There was no staff. The room was ok, bed comfortable, clean bathroom. The curtains were terrible and with an outside light on all night it was annoying. I didnt like the fact they had a full page of rules cellotaped to the kitchen wall with one rule being do your dishes, dry and put them away otherwise you will be charged $30! who does that! If you intend on a late arrival make sure you call ahead and get the passcode for the lockbox where the keys are, as we could not raise a real person after 5pm I would not stay here again

We have stayed 3 times now. We stay with 3 adults and 3 children. The two bedroom unit is spacious and having an oven is very helpful and the fridge is big (ie not a bar size) It's been very clean each time we have been. We will be back again.

Great stay, definitely would consider again 😊

Great place to stay. Big space with a separate room which was good for my friend. Location is a few minutes drive from takeaway outlets, supermarket and the Panmure train station where it's a 20 min train ride into the city.

The room we were given has been upgraded to a modern standard. Bathroom and bed were very good. The balcony leading to the room needs cleaning. The low rating was the entry door was mangled and there was no safety latches nor was there a deadbolt. The room door had a gap on the bottom allowing any bugs or other small animals to enter when closed.

Good location, close to all the stonefield shops. We had the 2 bedroom family room which was very spacious and was perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Added a Portacot for $25. Lots of parking and the property was quiet. during the day there’s some noise from the building going up next door but overall very happy

Super easy check-in, even when arriving late. Lots of free parking with wide spaces. Rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, some with walk in showers. It's a quiet spot to stay.
