Recommend only if goal is to sleep many for cheap

The apartment is owned by a family and run very informally. They do not accept credit card payments for the tourist tax. Their “transfer service” to the airport is one of the family members driving, and they do not accept credit card payments. If your goal is to be able to sleep several people in a single space for relatively cheap (near the airport), then it is worth staying. Otherwise, this property was not worth it.

Had a wonderful timd. Theologus who manages the prorperty had everything ready for me after a transtlantic flight. Property is walkable to small quiet neighborhood beaches. If you need a lift to airport Theologus will help set it up for cheaper fee than uber.

Fabulous experience

This was a fabulous experience First time I have travelled to this part of Greece. Theologos was in constant contact from my reservation to directions for transportation or pickup at my final destination. Kind, caring and warm greetings, feeling like family. Comfortable stay, very clean and peaceful! The town resembles a beach island community. I would have loved to stay longer to embrace the family community hospitality and it’s beautiful community surrounding areas.

It is a beautiful property. Close to a lovely bakery and fruit shop. Walking distance to the beach and a mile from many restaurants. The host was lovely and greeted us warmly. Even drove us to the airport at 4:30 am. The only negative would be that the beds were not comfortable and need to be updated

We were treated so well by the owners of this property. Theo was in contact right from the day we booked and his son George picked us up from the airport and took us back. He also arranged for our dinner at a fabulous local restaurant and the shuttle to take us there and back. On our way to the airport George stopped at a local bakery so we could get fresh and delicious baked goods and coffee. I didnt have time to enjoy the pool at the property but it looked very inviting. The property is very clean and comfortable. If we head to Athens again this will be our first choice for accommodations.

Wonderful Overnight Hotel near Airport

Villa d'Irene was a wonderful option for an overnight stay near the Athens airport. George made the pick up and drop off at the airport very easy, the room was very comfortable and the pool was absolutely wonderful after a long day of travelling. I expect that I will stay here again on future trips to Greece.
