Wonderful stay!

Perfect apartment for our trip to Athens! Very clean and excellent facilities! Location was a lovely, safe area with quick access to the Metro so perfect for travelling to centre! Excellent hosts who provided everything we could have needed for a wonderful trip. Recommend highly!

Perfect location and beautiful property!

My wife and I booked this property for the start of our Greek honeymoon and was absolutely perfect! The location was great for easily walking to the metro and into the neighborhood for food, cocktails and coffee! Yannis was also incredibly helpful with arranging taxis services to get to and from the airport( not to mention the delicious Greek honey at the house)!! We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful room and hosts

The hosts were very accommodating and even offered to have a car service to pick me up from the airport. They allowed me to check in early and the property was great. Exactly like the pictures. It was very secure and in a great walkable area with the metro close by.

Excellent property great host

The property is at a convenient location and only several metro stops away from the city center. Very clean and well maintained, just as shown in the pictures. Yannis is so kind and helpful, always responsive to our questions and helped us book the round trip transportation from and to the airport. Highly recommend it!

Loved our stay at MaMaison! Hosts were great. They arranged pickup from our cruise ship and it couldn’t have been easier. Our driver, Tolis was very friendly and informative. Recommend to everyone! We will stay here again! Close to metro and the OK grocery.

Perhaps the cleanest apartment i have ever stayed in. Fantastic residential location with everything that you may need within walking distance. The parking spot is very useful feature and makes your life easier. Will definitely go back there whenever i come back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment, great host

We had an amazing 3 night stay at this apartment. Very clean, has pretty much everything you need. (Could use a few more ice trays). We checked in later than expected due to flight delays. We were met with a very nice, helpful man who explained everything we would need to know about our stay. Parking was inside the gate and very secure. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in the Athens areal. You won't be disappointed.

Perfection

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Ma Maison property. Before even getting to the apartment, we were so grateful to Yannis for helping to arrange transportation from the airport. Not only was our driver a joy to chat with, but he also helped us to bring our luggage into the apartment and gave us a tour of all of the property's amenities. Everything was immaculate, and the AC was a welcome treat after our hot Athens adventures. We loved the location because it was away from all the hustle and bustle, but only a short walk to the metro stop. During our stay, Yannis was responsive and easy to communicate with as he also helped us to secure transportation to the cruise port. We would highly recommend this wonderful property - especially as a before or after cruise stop!

One sentence- this was exactly felt like a HOME. Wonderful host with excellent communication skills topped with quick response time. Flexible and very accommodating. Beautiful ambience and loved every second spent in the apartment. All the instructions were very clear even for the checkout in his absence. Very special surprise/gesture at the arrival. Beautiful, Clean, Convenient, and Well Appointed

The photos of the property were a fantastic example of everything we saw when we arrived. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming, with modern decor, a well-appointed kitchen, additional linens, a beautiful outdoor balcony, and private parking (which was a tremendous perk as we had a rental vehicle). Yannis and Rena ensured we knew how to check in, had someone to welcome us and show us important things for our stay, and were always available and incredibly responsive. They clearly cared about the experience of their guests and were absolutely wonderful! The property is within walking distance of several restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. It is safe and near to major roads to site see within Athens or travel outside of the area. It was perfect for our stay and allowed us to comfortably retreat from busy days of exploring all Greece offers. We would definitely return and highly recommend it. Thank you, Yannis and Rena!

I loved it.

The property looks exactly like the picture posted. I loved the super modern look and feel of it. It is beautiful. The bathroom shower is awesome. It has the rain shower head and other amenities. The apartment is perfect from the decor of the bedroom and living room to the private balcony and sleek kitchen. The owners really makes you feel special. Yannis personally greets you and gives an overview of the property and helpful information about Athens and things to do. The property is situated near a wonderful Greek bakery, grocery store and 2 minutes from the metro. The neighborhood is safe to walk around. On Mondays, there is a fresh produce market a block away. So if you are looking for a great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, this is the place. Thanks Yannis. Jeanne W.

Awesome Apartment and Great Location

My wife and I were visiting Athens for the first time. Several travel bloggers suggested staying in a hotel on your first visit to Greece. We don't stay in a hotel very often and chose to go the VRBO route. We could not have been happier with our choice. The apartment is located in a secure building in a neighborhood filled with local residents and close to shops and just a couple of blocks from the metro. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos. Yannis arranged for VIP pick up service from the port quite late the night we arrived. We also used the VIP service for our very early morning departure. Check in was a breeze. We only had a couple of simple questions while we were there and Yannis was very quick to respond. I don't know that we will ever be in Athens again, but if we find ourselves returning, we will not hesitate to stay here again. Delightful apartment and great owners!!

Exactly as pictured!

Highly recommend this place! Yannis was wonderful in keeping in touch with us, and even arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Yannis, but he had his friend Tolis ready to greet us at the place. He went through everything we needed to know and made sure we felt at home. The place is clean and comfy. The extra touches like being able to choose between ground or Nespresso coffee, fresh apples and honey , and personalize coffee mugs, were very much appreciated! We were a short walk from the train station which easily took us to the Acropolis and to Piraeus Port. The neighborhood felt very safe. I do wish we had more time to try the bakery and the restaurant that were close by. My favorite part in staying here was sitting on the back deck and listening to the birds and sounds of the neighborhood.Thank you Yannis and Rena for making our short time in Athens very comfortable and enjoyable! Great location in a perfect apartment

We stayed here for three nights in late March, and were very impressed and happy with the apartment. The location is great, being a 5-minute walk to a metro stop with a 15-minute ride to the Acropolis, and also not far off the major roadway circling Athens. The parking was especially helpful, as street parking is tough in this city. The neighborhood itself is well populated with shops and cafes, no lack of places to eat. The tablet device that Yannis and Rena provide includes all manner of tips and suggestions for eating both nearby and in central Athens (and many other subjects) and is a very thoughtful resource. The apartment itself is very modern and very tastefully furnished, excellent kitchen appliances (including the beautiful red refrigerator!) and tableware, and a nice little single cup coffeemaker (Nespresso-type). Having a washing machine is so helpful, and plenty of space to dry your clothes. The bed was comfortable, the wi-fi was excellent, and there was sufficient hot water once we learned how to control the water heater. Yannis was always available almost immediately by text if we had any questions. This was a perfect place for us and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

An Unforgettable Stay in Athens!I stayed at this apartment in Athens for my 50th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is absolutely perfect—safe, vibrant, and close to everything. There’s even a street market on Mondays that brings the area to life with local charm.The apartment was exactly as shown online: clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s about 30 minutes from the airport, and anytime I needed a taxi, Yanni was just a text away. His communication was always on point—prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful.What really made this stay special was the personal touch. When I checked in, Yanni had a birthday cake waiting for me in the fridge—such a thoughtful surprise! The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, toiletries, and even laundry detergent, making it feel like a true home away from home.The area is amazing—great price, great vibes, and super safe. My favorite thing to eat was the gyro from nearby spots, and I visited a local dessert shop daily for ice cream—the staff there were so friendly and welcoming.Travel tip for Greece: you can’t flush toilet paper, so always bring sanitizing wipes and be prepared to dispose of paper in a bin. It’s a small adjustment, but good to know ahead of time.If you’re considering a stay in Athens, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem and Yanni is an exceptional host. I’d absolutely book again!

Una estancia muy agradable

A mi familia y a mi nos encantó el apartamento. El anfitrión estaba esperándonos al llegar para entregarnos las llaves y explicarnos el funcionamiento de todo. Encontramos algún detalle que agradecimos, como agua fresca en el refrigerador. El apartamento es precioso, con un diseño moderno y una amplia terraza, dispone de todas las comodidades, aire acondicionado y una esmerada limpieza. Está muy cerca del metro lo que facilita el acceso al centro de la ciudad. Tiene también cerca un supermercado y panaderías. El barrio es muy tranquilo. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

Couldn't imagine a better place

The hosts were definitely super hosts! Communication was amazing from beginning and throughout. Yannis even offered to stay in touch if I had any questions after I left. There was a MA maison mug personalized. Very sweet touch. It was so comfortable and like a home away from home. The apartment was perfectly located just a few stops from the main centre. It was a great local neighbourhood. Five star all around!
