Easy check in and good communication with the host. The unit was at the top of the stairs so all guests passed the unit to reach the other units. It was noisy with people coming and going, especially late at night on the weekend. The bakery below the building was great!

King Charles Stay

Clean, great communication with owner/property management company. Only downside was the noise while inside the unit. We were 1st unit at top of entrance stairs and we could hear very prominently every single person who came or left at all hours of the morning/day & night- every footstep, every word of every conversation. It was a holiday weekend (4th of July), so maybe the obnoxious very loud people entering at 1am who woke us up 2 of the 3 nights are not residents of the building and they won’t disturb you.

Sister trip!

The 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment was lovely. We enjoyed breakfast at the bakery 2 day. We were also happy to receive the get you started packs with Coffee and to find individual coffeemate and half and half in the fridge! A nice touch. A short walk to Trader Joes where we picked up something for Sunday breakfast when bakery was closed! Would have liked to know somethink about the history of this building.

Exactly what we needed!

We wanted a VRBO that was in a good location and had easy access to all we wanted to do in Asheville. Super cute place! Was perfect for what we needed. Toured Biltmore. Toured UNCA. Ate lots of great food!

Short but great stay

This was our third stay at this property. Location is perfect. The condo is clean, comfortable, in a safe neighborhood, and super convenient to all things Asheville. The property management team is excellent, as well! We’ll be back!

Lovely, comfortable, clean location

We loved everything about this location! Easy parking, no hassle check in, clean, well supplied and spacious enough for 4 adults. The temperature was perfect and we used both air and heat. Coffee, dishwasher detergent, shampoo etc, surplus of towels, and comfortable beds! The only downfall was the master bathroom shower was unusable due to the pressure so the four of us showered in the other bathroom. Also there isn’t any counter space for toiletries. Having the bakery and butcher downstairs was awesome. It was perfect for our needs and the location couldn’t have been better.

Perfect stay

The condo was exactly as it was listed. The most important feature was the 2 king beds. The kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed the butcher and bakery that are right downstairs. We would definitely stay again the next visit to see our kids in Asheville.

Great property overall!

Location (very walkable to downtown and above the City Bakery) is great. Easy parking. Beds are very comfortable. Property management very responsive. A few minor issues (rooms are a bit cramped and could use some shelving for clothes etc, water pressure in the master bath was pretty weak). But overall a nice property and we enjoyed our stay!

Great little apartment, great location.

This was close enough to walk to a lot of downtown if you're up for it, but if not a very short drive to downtown and a pretty nice central location to visit anywhere in the area. The property itself was extremely cute, very cozy, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Coming back again!

The Historic Kings James Building was perfect for our stay, wife, myself, our good friend, 2 bedrms/2 baths, lovely living room and bar. Just what we needed for a short visit to Asheville! Parking lot and access was easy, perfect. Extra benefit of the City Bakery & Bone & Broth restaurant downstairs, good food, treats, coffee in morning. Fabulous Owl bakery just north of property. We are walkers, so walked downtown to City Center breweries & restaurants, felt safe, no issues. Brandon was easy to communicate with & clear directions.Looking forward to staying here again, when we have more time in Asheville, with vibrant areas, lots to do, cool, welcoming breweries and folks!
