No hot water, hot water tap did not work, safe did not work, there was no soap to wash hands. Soap dispenser was broken. Place was convenient to get to but stairs were a pure nightmare to carry bags up and down. Room was cold, thankfully weather was warm. Room was extremely basic, definitely not worth the high price that was charged.

go find a hostel, this felt like a scam or a joke.

there were maybe no bed bugs, I left itchy (even though I slept fully clothed), sick (I'm assuming from the musty window curtains) and almost puked on a regular basis (due to the smell in the bathroom that was absolutely rank.

The building is too old and has no lift, just stairs. To reach the reception, you should go up 37 steps on a very narrow staircase with your bag, which was very unsafe. After that, I should go further 17 steps up stairs to reach my room. The room was poor regarding cleaning, sound insulation, and outside wind/air insulation, as the windows were very old. The cost was not cheap; it was 119 GBP per night with no breakfast.The water drainage in the bath was slow, and it accumulated for a few minutes.

This hotel is in an excellent location, a 15 minute walk from the train station and near sites like the Anne Frank house. I was not prepared for the steep stairs going up to the hotel, especially when carrying my luggage. I got used to that, you have to take your time. The worst part was the cleanliness of my room. Garbage on the floor, razor in the shower, dirt under the bed. I was there for 3 nights, the same things remained the whole visit. Floor was dirty, bathroom wasn’t cleaned (they made the bed, that was it), garbage can not emptied. I knew it would be a small room in an old hotel, I was prepared for that. I wasn’t prepared for the lack of cleaning in my little room. Very disappointed in that, but loved the location.

Only if you are desperate to find a room

Long narrow dirty staircase so only bring a light small suitcase. Staff where pleasant and friendly. Room itself needs a complete clean and be refurbished. Noisy when doors where open and shut. Thankfully I was only there for 12 hours.

Sink was cracked, room was dusty, walls were filthy, smelt of smoke, dirt on the curtains, hairs all over the room. As well as practically nothing but the bed being clean or in good condition, the staff were very unhelpful and dismissive when asked who let themselves into our room whilst we were in it. Did not feel all that safe as 21 and 20 year old girls.

Its well located and clean for the price my main issue is the lack of proper storage for luggage if you get there early and no elevator since the stairs are very narrow but the staff is friendly and clean up well and unlike paris their showers do have curtains so the floor isnt too wet.

Very basic

The room was very basic, it was very cold at night as the heating wasn’t working and the duvets were extremely thin. There was middle of the night entertainment which was either the smoke alarm going off , people shouting and throwing stuff around . Very good location but wouldn’t recommend otherwise .
