Pear Tree Inn Cape Girardeau West
"I stayed for six days at Pear Tree while my daughter was doing camp at SEMO. They offer a discount for SEMO parents if you call direct, be sure to ask for it. You also get extra Drury reward points if you choose to not have housekeeping during your stay so that is something to know too. Main SEMO campus is 15 min away, Riverside is about 20 and an easy drive. Breakfast every morning was a delight. Linda was working during my entire stay and she was wonderful to chat with in the morning. Everything was kept fresh and full. I loved having coffee and sodas available to me plus the water bottle refill and ice were great since it was hot and humid. Popcorn was available in the afternoon for snacking which was nice. The Outback Steakhouse is a 2 min walk next door if you want fancy, but there are a million other options within a 5 min drive. Walmart is also 5 min away if you forgot anything. The hotel also has a kind of pantry with snacks, food items and health and beauty things you can purchase. Of course prices are a bit steep but beats running out at 10pm if you forgot your toothpaste. There is also a laundry for guests to use and the common areas offer lots of space outside of your room to work on read. Already booked my next stay for my student moving in."
