We are two families who stayed together in one chalet in La Plagne for our winter ski holidays.The chalet itself is very nice, with a stunning view, a quiet location, and close to the ski lifts. Overall, it is a comfortable place and we truly enjoyed the area and our holiday.However, there were several issues that made the beginning of our stay uncomfortable:The advertised parking is located about 50 meters from the entrance, which is inconvenient when arriving with luggage and children.There is no Wi-Fi in the chalet. Nowadays, Wi-Fi feels as essential as electricity, especially when traveling abroad. When we asked the owner, we were advised to rent a Wi-Fi box ourselves since it is not listed in the amenities. While this may be correct, it was still inconvenient.On the first evening there was no hot water due to electrical breakers being down. Two families with six children had to go to bed without showers. During our stay, the electrical breakers continued to trip, which was both annoying and concerning.One of the kitchen cupboard doors was broken, which prevented us from opening the dishwasher. It was fixed on the second day, but this should have been checked before our arrival.Despite these issues, we enjoyed the chalet and our ski holiday overall. With better maintenance and clearer communication about amenities, this could be an excellent place to stay.
