This stay was a significant disappointment. The furniture, carpets, and bathroom walls were noticeably stained and unclean, and it was uncomfortable to sit at the end of the bed. The air conditioning failed to adequately cool the room, while the hallways and lobby were uncomfortably cold. We also experienced ongoing issues obtaining hot water in the shower. I do not usually leave negative reviews; however, this property is marketed as a luxury accommodation and, at $350 per night, we expected a far higher standard. These concerns were raised with reception during our stay. This visit was intended to be a special occasion, which made the experience particularly disappointing. Even basic details, such as displaying the correct guest name on the television, were incorrect. Overall, the general upkeep and attention to detail were well below expectations.

Room was nice enough, but the hotel overall wasn't 5*. It felt like we were an inconvenience to all of the staff we encountered at the front desk. Breakfast was average, most items cold and dry. We had to ask for refills of coffee and milk if we needed it, this wasn't done as part of housekeeping. Staying here just felt more 'hard work' than it needed to.

Hotel is very nice and modern. Our room was very spacious and clean. We were unsure about the parking situation on arrival (and could not park outside the hotel prior to check-in). We ended up parking in the nearby Wilson parking and then spoke to staff about that upon check-in. It ended up being a very easy process and staff validated our parking ticket for the duration of our stay - perhaps clear information about this can be provided to guests before arrival at the hotel. The rooftop bar was very nice - but does require more formal clothes. Perhaps more casual clothing could be allowed between certain times (i.e. before 6pm). Would stay here again.

There was a suspicious mark rubbed on a fixture above the toilet that i couldnt get over. Shower was clean but the hairs left over from someone else bugged me too. I paid around 500 for this room on nye. Definitely wasnt worth it.
