"We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! The house is cute, comfortable, and in a perfect location tucked into a quiet, friendly community directly across from a private marina with easy water access. There was plenty of parking for our vehicle and kayak trailer, and we loved relaxing on the balcony each evening to enjoy the sound view and beautiful sunsets. (Bring bug spray if visiting in the summer!)The home was exceptionally well stocked with cookware, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other essentials, which made our week-long stay very easy. The outdoor rinse-off shower attached to the home was a huge plus after sandy beach days. We also appreciated the owner’s quick response in providing extra paper towels and bath towels when requested.A couple of minor areas for improvement: the main shower drain tended to back up during use, and we noticed some pet hair on the furniture and linens despite the home being listed as pet-free. The home otherwise appeared clean, and neither issue took away from our overall experience.Overall, this is a charming home in a fantastic Hatteras location, and we would happily recommend it to others."
