"I liked the overall esthetic and historical legacy of the Publick House. It’s a unique place and the grounds are beautiful. I felt that the staff did a great job with the tools that they have. There was a fair amount of miscommunication regarding the materials we had brought to complement the wedding rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception. These would be items like center pieces and other favors. We had difficulty connecting with the person responsible for the storage and sake keeping of these items during check in. We were told to wait in a downstairs hallway for her to review and store the material, but she never came. I ended up getting a different staff member to assist us and she couldn’t find the responsible person. We placed the materials in a rack without fully knowing that they would be handled. That was our only difficulty."
