Colby Hill Inn
"Staff were very welcoming and social. Breakfast was delicious. The only unfortunate thing is because the place is so old there are no individual room thermostats so our room was extremely hot whilst trying to sleep otherwise it would get 5 stars."

Cozy Cottage Near Mt. Sunapee - NH Ski Getaway
"We have rented with VRBO for many years, over 20, at least. There are certain things we like and look for rentals that have them. Cleanliness is #1 and we were very pleased here! Second is comfort. We are mid 70s and a comfortable chair after a day of hiking and exploring is our hope. Unfortunately the seating options here were not the best. Functional yes, and enough of them… queen bed was soft and we slept well. Bathroom was clean and small. Tub/ shower width was quite narrow and showerhead a bit low for 6’ man. Kitchen was very well done and we cooked our meals daily. The pots and pans were immaculate and this is not something I see at most rentals. The area was convenient to all the hiking spots we wanted to visit, as well as quaint little shops for picnic foods. The gas fireplace was just so cozy after our days outside observing the beautiful fall foliage. ( never having used a gas fireplace before, it did take time to find the turn on button on the left rear area). We enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful area."
