"Amazing all around experience!"

"Nice hotel that was conveniently located to a couple activities I was doing. The three hot tubs and sauna directly tied to the cold water lagoon are fantastic. The problem with this hotel as I found that the front desk staff were patiently disinterested when I arrived. With the largest issue is that there is nowhere else to eat in the vicinity and the hotel charges exorbitant amount for drinks and meals. We had the tasting menu and together with 2 glasses of wine the price tag was near 400 CDN. The service staff in the restaurant were plate, attentive, and efficient. The food at best, average, but way overvalued. You are clearly paying extra for the view and the hotel’s belief that is a high end resort. The poor bartender on the main floor was completely overwhelmed and we had to wait 15 minutes for drinks. Well other staff stood on the stairs talking. The next night I stayed in an another hotel not too far away in a town. The food was significantly better than the total stay was less than half of when I paid to stay indeed here. This simply isn’t good value and I would recommend that guests to the area look elsewhere"

"Hotel is conveniently located near a FlyBus/ Tour Bus stop. Has a popular cafe/ restaurant/ bar on the ground floor. Has parking, gym and sauna. It’s walking distance away from most of the notable attractions in Reykjavik, ie museums, restaurants, sculptures, etc."
