Renaissance Hotel is a great place to stay

The room was the best we had in Europe and the staff was wonderful in helping with any questions. The service was excellent, with chocolates every afternoon and any extra towels/lotion/pillows/shampoo that we needed. The breakfast was also the best we had in all of Europe, the variety was good the staff was attentive and there was even sparking wine to enjoy with your meal .

Hotel to isolated

Hotel building is nice, but there is not much nearby to do. Tried to purchase a train ticket to Zurich, but you just about need a degree how to buy a train ticket, even the locals and I do speak Swiss, comment, we stay away from these ticket counters. The staff at the check in counters are like robots

Close to tram line to city central

Nice hotel and room is large. Very comfortable and clean. Although the hotel is not in the city central, the tram line outside the hotel is very convenient. Catch the no. 10 or 11 to and from Zurich main train station. It's very close to the international airport as well. Catch the no. 10 or 12 tram to airport only takes 10mins.

Pleasant stay in Zurich for few days on holiday

Close tram links 5-10min from airport and 25mins into town centre. Staff were helpful and food was nice.

Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Staff

I loved this hotel. The staff were so helpful, you can do almost anything from the hotel, get tickets for the tram, exchange money, pay for tours. There is nothing in the immediate surrounding neighborhood, but the tram to the city center is literally across the street and takes 25 minutes.

this is the worst hotel I have gone,

the hotel has nobody to take the luggage, it is located in an industrial zone 15 minutes away from anything, the room had all the furniture worn out and dilapidated, the towels and sheet look that they have been washed over 1000 times, the TV in the room must be from 1980, it was enormous and was using the whole desktop, really a disaster!!!!!

Basic necessities only.

Little disappointed in the room of this hotel. Picked it as close to the airport... Room was an ok size - bed was a little soft but some people may like that. The carpet was quite dirty and added to the tiredness of the room. The TV was a very old tube style - needs modernising. On a positive note - the very limited room service menu at night does deliver an excellent pizza. Breakfast was ok only.

Know way a 5 Star Hotel. Dirty and Poor Service

I have to say that I am very disappointed in this hotel after reading other reviews, I was expecting so much more. Location ok but nothing at all around to do, 25 minutes by tram to Zurich which is outside. Checkin was the only thing to go ok!! After walking in the room it didn't take long to find issues starting with nail clippings on the floor! After closer inspection of the floor it was clear it hasn't been cleaned properly, bits everywhere. We then couldn't work the safe to findthe batteries had failed then the kettle was faulty but let's not forget the lamp also fizzed when used. The aircon failure was what topped it off not to mention the obscene charge for breakfast and Internet. I can't see how this hotel is a 5 Star. I have been in 3 star hotels that are better than this!! The communication between staff members is appalling plus they tried to charge us for fries we never had and tried to deliver mineral water we never asked for plus forgot two other things one being a 40th Birthday!!. They need to pick up there game, It's Very poor and wouldn't return here.
