Adele was the perfect host. This quaint B & B is very well presented. We stayed in the Great Burnett room which was beautifully decorated. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside of York this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We stayed in the Cornflower room. Very impressed with all of the thoughtful extras included from milk in the fridge a variety of beverages, bath salts etc. Adele was a lovely host, very helpful with local information. Excellent base for exploring with a great host. Harmony House is a lovely property overlooking the green next to the local church, very peaceful. Poppy room was spacious and comfortable. Adele's breakfasts were excellent and she was able to give us advice on local restaurants. Stay here!

What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. We had a fantastic stay, everything was lovely, clean and comfortable. The extras were extremely well appreciated - such as the complementary toiletries, drinks selection and homemade millionaire's shortbread.
