El dormitorio adicional en la misma planta también cuenta con 1 cama doble, 1 cama doble, y una pequeña sala de estar. Puedes salir a caminar por el muelle y disfrutar de toda la belleza de la puesta de sol.

Reviewer Comments: It was great but I was very dismayed to hear that the person downstairs complained that we were noisy. We are just two families fishing, swimming, and playing cards. I have never had any kind of complaint about us being noisy before. We have stayed at this property in the past. I would have picked a bigger (and more expensive) property but only this one was left. Overall it is adequate with an amazing pier

Perfect location

Our visit was short but we enjoyed the south end location of the rental. Gorgeous sunset and views of the sound. Quick, easy walk to the beach, Oceanic, surf and coffee shop. My crew enjoyed their winter surfing near the pier. Lots of beds for our kids and their friends. The house is dated but has a lot of character. The only issue we had was with the microwave which was very old and was not functional. Besides replacing the microwave the only suggestion would be a few more starter items for the kitchen such as dish detergent, a Brillo pads and additional wash rags and dish clothes. Maybe a couple trash bags too. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Loved the retro beach house...the best of the original '40s cottage with modern conveniences, cable, wi-fi. Loved sitting on the porch in rocking chairs watching beautiful sunsets every night. Channel-front with access to a private pier and beach, quick walk to the ocean beach, short drive to outstanding BBQ restaurants, grocery, fresh seafood, and historic sights. Lots to do in nearby Wilmington. Shopping at Cotton Exchange, historic Downtown and port. Only negative was the traffic noise but we will definitely come back.

No ESPN, CNN, TBS, TNT, Golf Channel--nothing except local access and ABC/CBS/NBC. Home has been updated and bathrooms are very nice. Great use of beds. Be mindful of parking as you can only manage 3 autos--but it is handled well by agency. Cable issue is huge and we felt misled--homeowner and agency should have appeased us.

Read the fine print

Enjoyed the historic nature of the property. Be advised not to have anyone up on the porch with a dog. Received a phone call on our last night that a neighbor reported we had dogs “in the house”. Porch yes- house never! My son had come to the beach all day with us and was not staying with us. The charge was already on my card when I hung up the phone. Had to go to the office the next day to make my case and request the charge be reversed. Rental Co. Was very fair and kind and made a plea to the owners. Waited two days to hear that the $900 had been returned. Needless to say- our trip memories were tainted.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage is very cute, plenty of beds, with 3 in one room upstairs, and 2 across the hall and a master on the first floor. Bathrooms obviously recently redone very nicely. Generous porch with great view of the Sound and the dock for our use across the street. Being close to beach access made it super easy to take the kids down each day. Not a ton of privacy so be sure to use for a close friends/family experience.

We’d recommend a few more rocking chairs on the front porch, as well as some furniture added to the dock area. Those two places were such fun locations to relax, drink cocktails, and talk! We called about an issue with the AC unit and within an hour, it was fixed. We were so happy with this vacation home and would love to visit again soon! Highly recommend this house to others!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house overall is nice, a little dated. It has a great pier and dock. Parking is very difficult if you have more than 2 vehicles. I had to pay an extra $125 in parking for one of the people staying at the house so they could park on the street at the meter. I think it should also be disclosed that there is a person that lives un the space under the main house. If you think you are getting the entire house you are not, and you do not have access to the garage. I would opt for a better location and house with more parking.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage was exactly as described. I have nothing but good things to say about the property itself. The cottage was clean and insect-free, and plenty of room for my family. HOWEVER, the downstairs tenant was what made our stay unpleasant. After reporting to the rental company about smoke smells that appeared overnight and permeated the upstairs bedroom and made the whole downstairs smell (older cottages aren't as well insulated), he came up the next evening and complained that we were making too much noise (we are a family - no partying) and then coincidentally a police officer was parked out front of our cottage for an hour or two. It felt like retaliation. I was humiliated and disappointed. If you are looking for a private house, I suggest you look for another rental.
