The staff was very attentive. They watched out for my safety when I was getting my stuff out of my vehicle.
The main room was in good shape I was disappointed by the condition of the bathroom. The mirror frame of badly measured and fitted trim is coming off and is painted in two colours, like they ran out of paint. The hook on the back of the door is coming off and can't be used; not a great thing for a poolside room. The freezer in the mini fridge needs to be defrosted. The chair at the desk has rips where you can see the padding, with no attempt to patch it, and the arms are too high for the low desk. Lastly, there's a line where the paint has been scraped off about 3ft up the door that connects to the room next door. The room is just starting to appear neglected and run down and I expected better.
I was disappointed in the breakfast. Almost all of it was carbohydrates (waffles, begals, muffins, 3 kinds of cereal, and oatmeal). For someone with a gluten allergy this is a nightmare. The plain cornflakes were the only safe thing, but no alternatives to dairy milk were provided. The only protein was small packages of yogurt, small packets of peanut butter, and very overcooked hard boiled eggs that resembled rubber. Many who can't have gluten can't have dairy. Yogurt is not an option. The gluten free bread I was told would be there, was not, and I would not have been able to toast it in the contaminated toasters.
My wasn't horrible, but it was disappointing.
