"Host and her mother live on the property and were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Location is max 10 min walk to a nice beach. The house is definitely old - which was charming but also meant some unusual set-ups: the bedroom with a twin and day bed has direct access to the kitchen downstairs and has to walk through the other twin room to access the upstairs bathroom; the upstairs bathroom only has a tub, no shower (there is a shower in the downstairs bathroom off the kitchen); the stairs were pretty steep and a few spindles were loose. We enjoyed the stay and it worked for two families with a total of 3 kids, but probably wouldn’t have been ideal for older people."

"We had another wonderful stay at this Pocasset property . Our hosts, Cathy are Charlie are amazing. The home is fully equipped for a vacation, and I mean fully. There are bicycles and beach chairs in the shed. There are water toys on the outdoor rack. There are plenty of towels and robes. Air Conditioning throughout. Gas BBQ and firepit in the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need, including a lobster pot which we made good use out of. There is a Coffee Bar and a wonderful outdoor shower. If you run out of something, there is always Larry's market down the street. Don't miss the fresh tomatoes and SWEET corn at the Bogside Farm stand during the season.Get ready to enjoy your time at the beach or explore the Cape. This was our second stay at this property and we are already looking forward to next year.The house is on a quiet, dead end road. The house is also pet friendly. We are amazed at the number of friendly dogs and owners we meet on our daily walks. You can easily walk to the beach from the house. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay at Cathy and Charlie's house."

"The location, coupled with the beautiful pool overlooking the harbor, made this a perfect place for a family vacation. The house is large and with kids bedrooms downstairs and master upstairs was also great for some adult peace and quiet. The fact that the house is part of a community with tennis and pickleball courts, a beach (and house kayaks) and a quiet community to take long walks was excellent. The Wizz Water Park was a huge hit with the kids and is a 15 minute drive from the house.The home itself, although older, has a great kitchen with modern appliances and tons of dishware and cooking pans as well as coffee makers. Couches and beds were very comfortable. Lots of towels and sheets and a great laundry room. Air conditioning was good, although on hot days it was tough to cool below 74 degrees. Great game room with a vintage Ms. Pac Man, a nice pool table and tons of board games. There are stairs down to a small private beach area in addition to the community beach which was only a 1 minute walk away,The owners were incredibly communicative and very very nice. We look forward to coming again!!!"

"My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at New Silver beach. The house was perfect for us, comfortable family room, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, wonderful outdoor deck and yard. The garage stored all supplies we needed for the beach, chairs, umbrella, wagon, paddle boards, kayak, bikes and more. New Silver is wonderful for children of all ages. Our children made friends easily for a fun week of swimming, fishing, biking and just having fun. The beach was a short walk away just far enough as the house was nestled in a quiet spot. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. We mostly stayed at the beach but the area is beautiful, shopping isn't far, and there are plenty of sites to see. Our only disappointment was the Tea room being closed, it was a handy little neighborhood store for quick pick ups and ice cream for the kids, that held fond memories. All around a great family vacation spot."

"This home was perfect for our growing family of 8 adults and 10 children 6 and under. We didn't even use one of the bedrooms!! The host was responsive to all of our questions and needs during our stay. The kitchen has all the pots and pans and utensils you need. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Plenty of bath and hand towels for everyone. The outdoor space is great - lots of room for running and playing. The only thing missing was a place for the kids to ride their bikes, so we drove the short distance to the Canal Bike Trail. The beach is a short (hilly) walk away - great for the kids -even at low tide exploring, catching minnows and hermit crabs! We packed beach chairs, umbrellas and toys but there were plenty there for our use along with a beach wagon and cart. Water shoes are a MUST for this beach. We wondered about the train tracks in the back, but much to the dismay of the kids, we only saw one train all week!! We would definitely come back!"

"A beautiful property with a great ocean view. The house is large and well laid out for multiple generation visits. BUT, the house needs loving care. All faucets dripped. The bathrooms are tiny and ancient. The host should hire new cleaners. All garbage from prior guests was still there for 2 days after we arrived. The dryer damaged some athletic clothes. I wish i could give this gorgeous place a 5 star review, but it needs work!"
