Somewhat less than expected
We gave this feedback on to 1066 during our stay.
While the location is good, the accommodation is basic, and people must be prepared for that – the description didn't quite match our reality.
Expectations could be better managed by sending clearer instructions beforehand. The automatically generated emails don't display line breaks/paragraphs, so they're not super readable (probably due to Vbro's system).
The keysafe/WiFi codes came through clearly, but it was irritating to be asked to download an app whenever accessing the info.
No instructions in the property to explain how things work, so we didn't know which setting was most economical for the washing machine. Marks on the hob have rubbed off, so it's hard to see which dial controls which hob. The oven wouldn't ignite, and there were no matches to get a flame.
Barely any cleaning products/cloths provided or cooking basics like oil, salt/pepper, so you really do have to take everything with you.
Central heating wasn't on when we arrived and there was nothing to suggest where the boiler/thermostat was, and if/how we should set it.
To be fair to the on-site team, they were responsive when we found a phone number, but then we were told they knew the boiler wasn't working and weren't sure if it had been fixed. So that wasn't great.
