Disappointed
I wanted to reach out following our recent stay at the bungalow on the bluff. This trip was meant to be a much-needed getaway for my husband and me, along with close friends, and we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to what was advertised.One of the main reasons I chose this property was for the hot tub — which ended up being unusable. It hadn’t been cleaned, the water smelled like mildew, and there were no chlorine tablets in the floater. It clearly hadn’t been maintained in quite some time.From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the outdoor area hadn’t been taken care of — overgrown grass and weeds, old dog toys, beer cans, and bottles were scattered throughout the yard. It gave a bad first impression that unfortunately carried into the home.Inside, we found that the second bedroom had a full-sized bed, not the queen that was advertised. This created a real issue, as the couple we were traveling with could not comfortably share such a small bed. Because of this, we ultimately decided to leave early — the house just couldn’t comfortably accommodate all of us as described.On top of that, the mini split A/C units weren’t working well, and we discovered the filters were completely clogged. We cleaned them ourselves just to get the air flowing again.
