The property was nothing short of our expectations. We felt cozy and right at home. We loved the property dogs coming by for daily visits. We will definitely rebook this location next time we are in town.

The host was very welcoming. A text was sent before we arrived with instructions. The house and scenery are beautiful. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and played fetch with the dogs. The road to the property was rough; but, she did notify us about them ahead of time and gave an alternate route to take. Thanks for a great time!

Stay was just what we anticipated. Will stay again. ‘Would recommend the written guide we found on the counter be updated. It contains the wrong internet password (the correct one is written on the chalkboard).The checkout instructions in the guide may not be complete either. But we experienced no major issues. Loved this rural home, the owner Terry was great! We wanted for nothing! The place was dog friendly and our dog loved being able to run outside. Short drive to Canton Trade Days!

Perfect for our family stay- This property had ample outside space. The house was partly shaded by trees, making the outside porch cool and especially comfortable. Days and nights were quiet in the countryside neighborhood. We did not bring our dogs with us, but I was impressed to find an extra room for dogs, which included a covered couch and an extra large crate to keep them. The floor plan was spacious and included three exit doors and lots of windows. Natural lighting, flooded each room and views from every window were serene and picturesque. The house was clean and tidy. Decor was thoughtfully placed which helped with our toddler. The house was well equipped with cleaning supplies, toiletries, coffee and seasonings. The host left a welcome gift of muffins and cookies.Communication with the host was quick and responsive. A print out sheet of emergency numbers, great food places/sites and general info was helpful.

Terry was so very nice and helpful. We loved the dogs roaming the property! The house was perfect for our needs. Comfortable and clean. Comfortable beds. The only thing that we were sad about is that we could not watch the World Series games on the tv. I highly recommend this rental. I would rent it again.

Amazing Place to Stay

Cute little getaway from DFW

We had a great stay and enjoyed watching the horses in the morning. The property is in a quiet area. It was well stocked and had easy access to things we wanted to explore. Would certainly recommend this place.

Beautiful property. It was so nice sitting on the porch every morning, watching the horses and cows grazing. The house had everything we needed and was just a great place to stay. The host provided great communication and was very helpful. It feels a bit remote but is only about a 10-15 minute drive to Canton. Great place to stay for trade days.

Modern, clean & comfortable

The home was clean, modern, and very comfortable, set in a quiet grove of trees next to a pond. Each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom and private entry to the outside, which made the layout especially convenient. The gas fireplace and propane grill are nice seasonal touches. The 10-acre property, with horses nearby, created a peaceful setting. The host was very friendly yet respected our privacy. We had a very good stay and plan to return the next time we're in the area.

Delightful Property and Stay

We needed a place for our family of three to stay during the week of Thanksgiving and found this quiet ranch property to be a true delight and one we will definitely stay at again! The home exceeded our expectations, was lovely, very well appointed with many unexpected extras provided by the owners which made it even better. The home was even decorated for autumn which made it extra nice and is an indication of the attention to detail of the owners. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay and will certainly stay there again. Thanks to the team for making our time there so enjoyable.

The road getting to our house was horrendous. The furniture in living room could have been better. Chairs were not comfortable. 2 or 3 lazy boys would be so much better!

This property was so beautiful! The house is on a quiet corner of the owners property. Everything was so clean and nice! They had coffee and muffins waiting for us and welcomed us when we arrived. The house is so close to Trade Days and many restaurants. The water pressure was fantastic and hot! We enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and visiting. The house has 3 doors that lead outside so it was nice for our 2 couples to have options to come and go without interrupting others. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The Perfect Spot for Us

Everything about this place was perfect. We came for a wedding that was in Edgewood and had other family staying in Cantan. Everything is a real easy drive from each other, 15 ish minutes.We checked in hours early and got the chance to meet the owner, Terry, who lives close by. We asked about a blender, which recently burnt out, and shop towel for our dog as there was a lot of water near by that we knew the dog would run in. Terry came back about an hour later with a nice blender, towels for the dog, a new bag of dog treats, and donuts!The house was great, very clean and well taken care of. The inside and porch area are very cozy and relaxing.There were four dogs that roamed the property and were the nicest dogs we have ever met. Our dog does not like sharing nor interacting with other dogs much. Our dog snipped at two of Terri's dogs once or twice and they couldnt have cared less. After a couple hours they all hung out the rest of the week just fine. Very respectful dogs that will give you as much or as little attention as you allow. It was fun waking up and drinking our coffee on the porch with the dogs coming over to say hi. two of the nights we had another family crash with us for the wedding, in total there were 6 adults. We used the couch and an air mattress and it all worked out great.If we are ever back in this area of Texas, we will do everything we can to stay here again!
