Wonderful Route 66 location and town
This place was just what we needed. This was the last stay of our National Park loop and it could not have been any more perfect. There was plenty of room, and the pictures don’t show it, but there is an extra twin sized trundle bed in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, spices and other basics. You could tell the place is going through some updates still, like touch up areas. But all-in-all the towels, furnishings, and extras all look brand new. Only hiccup I had when we got there, which was late and dark, was all the steps to gain entrance into the unit. Don’t forget to read to instructions carefully and fully. :) Thanks to Michelle, the property owner who answered my distress quickly and generously. Additionally, the location was very centrally located to one of the best Mexican places we’ve eaten at, El Corral on 66. We also did the train ride into the grand canyon. I’m glad we had an extra day to go on our own though, highly recommend more than less time. And our last dinner was a the Historic Brewing, which had an amazing fresh salad. (I know boring, but after a week of american food, its just what I needed.) Overall, highly recommend this unit. It does not disappoint.

Gave us wrong gate & door code for lock boxes
Proprietor gave us the wrong codes for the lock boxes for BOTH exterior gate as well as the interior door. All in all it took us over 30 minutes to get into the property. Oh, and did I mention it was snowing at the time? Upon entering we found the living room light didn't work. Also the ceilings and doorways were low, floors were sloped, exposed outlets and wifi was ridiculously slow. Plus our small dog found a screw on the floor and was chewing on it. If he had swallowed it that could have been a very expensive surgery. When I brought all these things to the owners attention via email (w/pics included), she made excuses and basically told us to go kick rocks.

Great Location
This property is right on Route 66. All of the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The owners are still in the works of a few renovations but everything was super clean. The bedding and linens were soft and cozy. My biggest critique is that the foundation seems like it isn’t leveled. Walking from room to room was a bit disorienting at times. The WiFi was also pretty slow. The 5 of us had a great weekend getaway. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful!

Nice place and walking distance to everything!
Great place to stay! Very recently remodeled, and very well done. A few minor finishing touches to the remodel were not yet completed, however the host was up front about this, and it did not take away from our experience in any way. We had a couple of questions about the property while we were there, and the host was very helpful and responded very quickly. Overall very clean and comfortable place to stay The best thing about this property was the location. We walked to the train depot to catch the grand canyon train- an easy 10 minute walk. There was a nice coffee shop less than a 5 minute walk away. And several restaurants and a craft brewery less than a 10 minute walk away! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.
