The guy that greeted us seemed pretty unhappy that he had to distribute room keys. We didn’t look very closely at the room when we checked in because we had been traveling for twelve hours and our kiddos were hungry. We got back from dinner and found that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, a window was broken, there was some sort of bodily fluid that hadn’t been cleaned off the tv, and the entire room (light switches, floors, etc) were visibly dirty. The cupboard under the sink in the bathroom had an open hole, and the sink had obviously leaked into the drawer below. It was too late for us to find other accommodations and we were far too tired to move our party of five to another hotel at that time also. We wouldn’t stay here again and are shocked that this property is listed on Expedia. Oh, and if you need a microwave, you’ll find it in the parking lot.

I don't recommend staying here. Let's start with the positives. 1. Heater worked beautifully. It kept the room warm all night long. The temp got down to 25°F. My room stayed above 75°F all night long. 2. Water heater was fantastic! I took a long hot shower in the morning to help relax my sore muscles from hiking the Grand Canyon the previous day. 3. The staff member that checked me in did it quickly and informed me all the info I needed. Now the negatives: 1. Bed has a metal bar going down the middle of the bed underneath the mattress, so not able to cuddle comfortably 2. Mattress had no support and it felt like I was falling towards the edge of the bed. 3. Walls a super thin and can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. 4. Only 2 really thin pillows for a King size bed. So no neck support even after I folded mine to try to double it up. 5. No trash bags in the trash cans and the cans had stuff stuck on the inside. Gross! So if you need a place to sleep, go somewhere else. You will get a better sleep than my daughter and I did.

We had nothing but a positive experience during our 2 night stay here. I’ve stayed at quite a few hotel given the travel for work & play, even the nicest hotels have had crappy beds. I know a lot is based on preference but the beds here were so comfy I wanted to cancel our plans & veg out. The location to everything was perfect. Staff was very pleasant to work with, check in was very simple, along with check out. It is an old place! There is no denying that, however, we loved it & we’re pretty impressed! We look forward to staying here again in the future!!
