Poor customer service. Not accommodating to their guest. The Motel did not allow rescheduling of reservation due to weather/storm. When I arrived, I was informed that my room would not be ready for another hour. Refused to refund me when I requested to cancel the reservation because my room was not ready. Has incorrect information on website regarding check in time. The website indicates check in time is 3pm. Document needing signature for credit card payment also had incorrect information in fine print. Indicated check in time was 3pm, and when brought to hotel managers attention. She stated that the website and fine print information was incorrect, and that they needed to update it.
This is NOT a “luxurious oceanfront hotel” as described by any means. Our room that we booked was disgusting. As soon as I opened the door, the awful smell was overwhelming s and unbearable. There wasn’t any trace of cleaning products smell by any means. The carpet must just be wet all the time and not properly ever cleaned because it smelled like a musty basement. The bathroom floor was not cleaned and was like slippery with something on the floor. They definitely did not monitor the amount of guests in the pool at one time or even attempt to enforce social distancing. The cabana area had garbage and towels left everywhere. My husband is high risk for COVID and I needed to stay in a hotel that property cleaned their rooms and buildings and did not feel safe to stay here for even one night. We checked out the same day and I was told by the staff member at the desk that she understand my complaints and they couldn’t offer us another room because they didn’t have any available. She also said that her manager would contact me to discuss my concerns. I never received a phone call. I also emailed them and requested a refund which I have not received back and no one has even responded to my email either. This hotel deserves negative stars and no one should risk staying here especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
